I would highly recommend taking 15 minutes per session per person.
The primary goal of your 15-minute headshot session is to capture the best possible image that truly represents you. By creating a relaxed and personal atmosphere, I will ensure that you feel at ease, leading to natural, confident, and professional results.
Prepping
Each session begins with preparation to make sure you look your absolute best. This includes final adjustments to hair, clothing and overall appearance, helping you feel ready and confident for your headshot.
The Photo Session
During the shoot I’ll guide you through a variety of poses, angles, and expressions while keeping the environment light and comfortable. My focus is not only on capturing great images but also on ensuring you feel relaxed and at ease throughout the process.
Image Selection
At the end of the session, you’ll have the opportunity to review the images and select your final favourite. I’ll be there to guide you and offer feedback to help you choose the one that best meets your professional needs.
By selecting your image on the spot, the process becomes seamless and efficient. This method allows me to begin editing immediately and avoids the delays that can come with post-session gallery reviews. To learn more about the benefits of this approach, see “How do I choose my final image?”
This process ensures a stress-free experience and delivers exceptional results, all while saving you time and effort.
Why Choosing Final Images at the End of Your Session Makes Sense
When each attendee selects their final image right after their session, the process becomes seamless, efficient, and far more cost-effective for everyone involved. Here’s why:
Saves Time and Effort for Your Team:
No need for your team to manage a large gallery of headshots or coordinate back-and-forth with employees to gather their choices. Each person decides on the spot, so there’s no administrative hassle or delays.
Quicker Turnaround Time:
With final images selected immediately, editing can begin straight away. This means you’ll receive the final, polished headshots in days, not weeks or months – ensuring your team looks professional and up-to-date sooner rather than later.
Streamlined Process:
Attendees often prefer to make decisions while everything is fresh. This eliminates the risk of them forgetting to choose or delaying the process unnecessarily.
Cost-Effective Solution:
Handling decisions on-site avoids the additional time and resources required to manage galleries and coordinate image selection after the shoot. This keeps costs down and ensures a smoother experience for everyone involved.
Professional Guidance On-Site:
Attendees can benefit from professional input during the selection process, ensuring they pick the most flattering and appropriate headshot for their needs.
In short, choosing images at the end of the session simplifies everything, saves money, and gets you the final results faster. It’s a win-win for your team and your business!

Choosing the right outfit for your headshot is key to making a great impression. Here are some tips to help you look and feel your best:
Keep it classic:
Timeless pieces like a tailored blazer, collared shirt, or simple blouse work well. Avoid trendy patterns or styles that might quickly date your headshot.
Stick to neutral or solid colours:
Navy, grey, white, or pastels are great choices. Avoid bright neon colours or busy patterns, as they can distract from your face.
Think layers:
Adding a blazer or cardigan can add depth and flexibility to your outfit.
Avoid logos:
Keep the focus on you by skipping visible branding or slogans.
For a polished look:
Grooming Matters: Make sure clothes are pressed and lint-free.
Consider Texture: Matt fabrics photograph better than shiny ones.
The most important tip?
Wear something that makes you feel confident and professional! If you’re unsure, feel free to bring a couple of options to your session—I’ll be happy to help you decide.
Yes, absolutely. I have Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance. I will be happy to provide details if required.
For the best experience, I recommend a space that’s at least 3 meters by 3 meters, which is about 10 feet by 10 feet.
A perfect location would be a large empty room or even space at the end of a boardroom or meeting room, ideally without a large table in the middle.
If you are short on space and not sure how things will work, please get in touch. We can work something out. I can also adjust my setup to fit snugly into narrower areas.
All my lighting equipment runs on batteries, so you won’t have to worry about any cables on the floor!
If you book me for 4 or 8 hours, it would be great if I could have access to a single power outlet for my laptop and a small table… thank you!
I cover all areas across London from Central London, Canary Wharf, City of London, Westminster and Mayfair to name but a few. However if you have a requirement outside of London – please get in-touch as I many still be able to offer my services.
